David graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and he is registered on the roll of lawyers of the Czech Bar Association. In his legal practice, he focuses on administrative and employment law. His specialisms include regulatory law, with emphasis on competition and public procurement, and the fields of financial sector and compliance, including consumer credit, payments or AML.
In his legal practice, he has advised in licence proceedings before the Czech National Bank, which has included drafting of internal compliance procedures and rules, including procedures recommended by the European Banking Authority. He has also taken part in preparation of complex contractual documentation for peer-to-peer investment platforms and drafting of public tender documentation for significant Czech contracting authorities.
In his practice, he has experience with representing clients before courts and administrative bodies, particularly before the Office for the Protection of Competition, the Czech National Bank, Czech Trade Inspection, Labour Inspections and the Financial Analytical Bureau.
